During a conversation on whether we would want to know if our partners were cheating on us, reader Sandra Van Statten raised the question of whether she would have the courage to tell a friend if she knew his/her partner was cheating on him/her.

Society accepts Men to cheat but on women it’s like oh my She cheats? $#@%&$#@???!!!!.
I feel the Society allows this bad behavior to keep on growing coz even ladies who knows a particular man is married proposes to them , still accepts. Some even give excuses that men needs variety and who said Women does not need variety. It is just a matter of being self disciplined by producing variety out of one partner one has. And if every individual makes an affirmative decision not cheat definitely we will create a non cheating society.
Is it possible? Yes it is and we can!!. The fact that God created one Man and one Woman means it is very possible.

But I have to say that women also cheat. Just today I received an email from someone I know in response to that poll where I was asking people whether they would want to know if their partner was cheating. And she said she didn’t know which way to vote because she has never been cheated on. “But I have cheated. A lot.” she said. It’s just that, as you say, people go $%$$&? when they find out a woman cheated, o women are quietr about it, whereas some men take it as a measure of their manhood and brag about it.
Women do cheat, i know several of them who cheat on their men.
But the question is why do they cheat because with men we know the reason is lack of satisfaction and sometimes is lack of appreciation. They dont want to appreciate wat they have or wat their wives do for them. Should we say women also lack satisfaction or appreciation? What do they want?
@Damaria I did not mean to say women does not cheat that is why I emphasized that when a woman has cheated the society is like $%$$&?.And even in the bible when the society then wanted to stone a woman who was caught in adultery Jesus asked where the man was? I understand this as that the society then wanted to punish the woman only and not the man. @Mphatso just as you have said some men cheat coz of lack of satisfaction and sometimes is lack of appreciation it is also the same with women who cheats, some women are never contented with one man.
