You are invited to the free public screening of the “Three and a Half Lives of Philip Wetu”,  a film which follows the life of Philip, a young attractive IT professional whose life spins around five women, reports Filmmaker South Africa.

The film will be shown today  and tomorrow at the  Sam Nujoma Multi Purpose Centre in Ongwediva, Namibia ( July 14-15).

On Friday and Saturday, July 17-18, the film will reach Keetmanshoop and be shown at their Multi Purpose Centre from 15h00-17h00 and 10h00-12h00 on Saturday. The last screening will be on Tuesday, July 21, at Polytechnic of Namibia auditorium from 16h00-18h00.

About the Three and a Half Lives of Philip Wetu

Although Philip lives with his loyal long-term girlfriend, Genevieve, he is also involved with four other females, Tulonga, Finelda, Jacky and Nailoke.

Philip is envied by his buddies for his ‘success’ with women, but his lifestyle gets him into situations that can have negative consequences on his and his lovers’ lives. Will he take an HIV test or even confide about his infidelities to his long-term girlfriend?

“Three and a Half Lives of Philip Wetu” shows us that nobody is immune to HIV/AIDS and those that have multiple sexual relations are one of the major drivers of the epidemic. It aims to raise awareness around HIV/AIDS and relationships. The myth that HIV is a disease of the poor is false because the disease has entered every sector of our society.
