Multiple and concurrent partnerships (MCPs) or the “small house” phenomenon as it is known in Zimbabwe, has been identified and blamed as a major driver of HIV infection across the Southern Africa region, reports The Southern Times.

Through research, it has been established that the issue of several concurrent sexual partners is common in all regional countries although it goes by different names in different countries.
