The Champions
The Champions for an HIV Free Generation is an organisation formed to provide positive, more visionary and outspoken leadership on HIV & AIDS.
The Champions, led by His Excellency, Mr. Festus G. Mogae, the former President of Botswana, include former African presidents, a Nobel Laureate and other high-level African leaders.

It Begins With You
The YOU campaign anchors the continent-wide efforts of the African Broadcast Media Partnership Against HIV/AIDS (ABMP) to re-engage all Africans in the fight to combat HIV/AIDS.
Built around the tag line, Imagine the Possibility of an HIV-free Generation. It Begins with YOU, the campaign is designed to promote an optimistic and inclusive perspective on the power of personal action in contributing to the prospects of an end to the HIV/AIDS epidemic and a better future for all Africans.
Using public service ads on television and radio, as well as a popular radio mini drama and a 13-part television reality show, the campaign focuses on broader contextual factors affecting the risk of HIV infection.

SafAIDS
Established in 1994, SAfAIDS is a regional non-profit organisation based in Pretoria, South Africa with two other country offices in Lusaka Zambia and Harare, Zimbabwe.
With support from local partners, SAfAIDS currently implements its programmes in Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
SAfAIDS’ core activities include capacity development for other HIV and AIDS Intermediary Organisations (IOs), information production, collection and dissemination, networking and building partnerships and leadership in promoting dialogue on cutting- edge issues related to HIV and AIDS.
Mission
The organisation’s mission is to promote effective and ethical development responses to the epidemic and its impact through HIV and AIDS knowledge management, capacity development, advocacy, policy analysis and documentation.
Vision
SAfAIDS strives to be a leading southern Africa regional centre of excellence, organising, analysing, repackaging and disseminating HIV and AIDS information in response to the needs of communities.
