Xolisa Tjale, running for Nedbank, bank, was a comfortable winner in the Soul City Running Clubs 21km race on Sunday when he entered the UJ grounds ahead of Michael Mazibuko, reports the Citizen newspaper.
Tjane won in a time of 1:07.33, some 42 seconds in front of Mazibuko, with the Ethiopian Degene Asafa, third. The Soul City Race aimed was hosted to commemorate World AIDS Day, and to raise awareness about how having multiple concurrent partners increases our risk of being infected with HIV.
