Having more than one sexual relationship at the same time is driving the spread of HIV in small landlocked Lesotho, reports PlusNews.
The health sector has long suspected this, but a new report by the National AIDS Commission (NAC), in partnership with UNAIDS and the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, has confirmed it.
The report, Gender and Multiple and Concurrent Sexual Partnerships in Lesotho, found that 76% of men and 82% of women knew that having only one partner reduced HIV risk, but they were reluctant to limit themselves.
Talk about it
Why do people have multiple concurrent partners even when they know/suspect that this would increase their chances of getting infected with HIV?

Behavior change is always difficult in fact change managed always finds resistance whether the change is positive or negative. For human beings I feel change can come in if they surrender their lives to Jesus with the help of the holy spirit who can definitely help their consciousness to be alive and realize their sinful nature otherwise man own his own it is very difficult. I know of a friend who used to go out with married men and she also used to drink a lot but since she got born again she completely refuses to indulge herself in such behaviors again. GOOD PEOPLE IT TOOK CHRIST to save a person the bible says when one is born again the old is gone the new has come 2 Corinthians 5 vs. 17. What are you waiting for surrender your Life to CHRIST, he loves you and is willing to help you change. Read the whole book of ROMANS.
