Masakhe Paradise, part of the Kwanda project in East London in South Afrca recently held an HIV/AIDS awareness march through the streets of Parkside and Pefferville, reports Go & Express. Pefferville’s Masakhe Paradise is part of the Kwanda reality TV series that documents a social development project.
The HIV Awareness march was held because the disease is one of the issues tthe project seeks to address in the community. “We needed to take action because HIVAIDS is a major problem in the greater Pefferville community,” says Masakhe Paradise’s HIV coordinator Ntombembasa Madlanga.
Take action
You can also take action to encourage your friends, family and community to have one love and to be faithful to that partner. Here are some suggestions in an article entitled “How to get your community involved in the OnLove campaign.”
You can also join the Kwanda social network, where you will meet other individuals who want to make a difference in their communities, and chat with the Kwanda coaches, who can give you additional advice on how to organise your OneLove awareness campaign.
