At the start of a relationship most people do their best to love, talk freely, respect and protect each other.  But after a while, some people start to work less at their relationship. This is when people start to look for other partners.

You and your partner need to work hard to make sure that this does not happen to you.

Qualities of a good relationship

What do you think makes a good relationship? Here are some things that can make up a good relationship:

• You talk about sex and how to make it good for each other.
• You have only one relationship.
• You respect, love and admire each other.
• You support each other at all times.
• You listen to each other and respect what your partner says. Your partner respects what you say.
• You have an emotional bond.
• You trust one another and always tell your partner the truth.
• You are physically and sexually attracted to one another.
• You appreciate your partner.
• You complement each other, and you do not compete against each other.
• You share your dreams, wants, needs, feelings and thoughts.

Does this sound like your relationship?

Remember: Try to do the things that used to make your partner happy. Keep doing them to make him/her happy even when you have been together for al long time.
