    obviously polly gamy is allowed not only in swaziland but all around, the fact of men taking more than one wife tells u how pollgamy playes a role in some parts of countries for instance pollgamy in saziland is very high so the quetion is not does polly gamy play a role is how can we say no or put a stop 2polly gamy since its not only a treath 2 pples lifes or health reducing it needs more stratagic planning or a plan 2 help men 2 stop killing them selves by taking more than one wife,illegalising polly gammy is not a cure but a diseas

    @sandiles – I guess the more definite question I should have asked is, “should polygamy have a place in our society during this time of HIV & AIDS?”

    The answer to that question is NO NO NO!
    polygamy increase the risks of getting infected with Aids and thats what society should avoid at all cost.

    In the same way homosexuality/ sodomy is a western (Europe and USA) culture, polygamy is African, Middle Eastern and Moslem culture. Both pose serious risk of contracting HIV (homosexuality even more so since HIV infection in Middle East and Moslem countries where polygamy is practiced is low). Why do donors accept sodomy and discourage polygamy? At most they both should be treated as risky cultural practices. Western culture is not more superior, regardless of the West funding such campaigns as OneLove.
