The latest Soul City TV series is a central part of the OneLove campaign in South Africa. The weekly drama series plays on SABC1 at 20h30. It began on the 19 January and has 13 episodes.
Viewers are introduced to Zimele and Lebo, who appear to be the perfect married couple. But there is more going on and the relationship is strained.
Zimele is involved in a web of secrets and lies, involving inter-generational and transactional sex.
The story takes us across a number of characters unfolding the web of lies, and with it pain and HIV.

The cast also includes Bongi Mlotshwa as Lihle, James Ngcobo as Tefo and Nonhlanhla Khalo as Mihlali. Soul City series 9 is produced by TOM Productions with the talented Akin Amotoso, Robbie Thorpe and Kgomotso Matsunyane.
