It is horrific how men can use women and getting them to believe that they control their lives but the sad part is, in some countries, regions etc it can be done due to women not being educated enought to do their ‘own thing’. And banks not lending people money to start their own businesses etc., or not going into partnerships with the people who want to start their own business and have the skills to do so.
The most chilling lines for me was when one partner asks her friend :”and you trust him?”
And she replies:”why shouldn’t I? He loves me.”
