Against the Odds was developed as part of the Love- Stories in a time of HIV & AIDS series

A Namibian film developed for the Desert Soul Health and Development non-governmental organisation,  and produced by the youthful Marinda Stein, was well received when it was launched in Windhoek, as part of a SADC campaign to prevent HIV risks associated with multiple concurrent partners, reports New Era

The film, ‘Against the Odds’, was co-written by Stein and film veteran Vickson Hangula, while Stein was also the producer of the film.

Stein was very excited about her first venture into film, having been a TV producer for NBC for many years,

“I was honoured to co-write the Namibian film with a name that needs no introduction to the local film world.
